Attached a maggot feeder and a small hook to the CF1 2025 this morning and managed to land a nice Scottish wild brown trout with it! Caught another good one on the rod too. There were loads of perch around as well, although most of them were pretty small. A very fun morning on the water!

Even with the typical low-viz water, the CF1 pulled through. Spotted a few trout cruising the edges. Proper bit of kit

I purchased the CanFish CF1 Shimmery/Ice fishing kit, it includes the multi angle camera holder which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve only used this setup twice since purchasing as I was waiting for good weather so as to fish from a boat, the setup and connection is very easy. first time I lowered the camera into 10m of water I found the camera once in salt water was almost buoyant but it descended to the bottom without a hitch and worked fine the issue I had was that it is lightweight and is then subject to even slow currents/tidal movement so moves around and spins to stop it from doing this i had to lower it to rest on the bottom, the camera then is too low sitting on the weeded bottom or on sand to see very far into the near distant I then made stand out of 4 inch dia PVC piping 6 inches tall with end caps with a 4 oz weight inside, I drilled holes all over it so it let the water in and out and keeps the weight down, the electrical transmission cord seems very strong and can potentially hold 40 kg although I wouldn’t tempt fate and have kept it light as practical, practically issues are the cable, winding 30m on and off the small cable drum encourages cable twist and is cumbersome the other issue is the system using chasing only allows live and video so if you want a picture of a scene or fish you need to act fast and screen shot otherwise I’m pretty satisfied.

The camera works well overall and I've captured some really interesting bite footage. Definitely cool to see what's going on underwater.

bought this mainly for the alarm feature. Now I dont have to stress about missing a bite when I step away from the hole. It sets off an alarm so I can run back in time. Super handy and a cool little helper.

Ice fishing with the CF1 yesterday was such a fun experience. It captured some amazing footage of yellow perch competing for my bait, and the underwater video was clear. Definitely worth the price. Also, shipping was incredibly fast since they have a US warehouse.

The app is very intuitive and easy to use. It shows details like depth and temperature — I’m not 100% sure about the temperature accuracy, but the depth reading works really well. The camera definitely attracts fish!

I mainly use the CF1 for carp fishing, and it has been a really useful bit of kit. It is especially helpful when trying different rigs or bait presentations.

I had a connection issue straight out of the box. I sent emailed canfish and they sent a replacement right away and it works flawlessly. Great picture, I’m glad I went with the CF1 2025

I just got the new CF1 2025 and I’m really liking it so far. The design feels more refined and it's easier to use compared to older models. It runs smoother overall. Haven‘t had it out too many times yet, but pretty excited to see how it performs on the water.

The image quality is exceptional even at night in complete darkness. Some fish gathered around the infrared light, which was really interesting to watch.

Tried the CF1 2025 mainly because of the fish alert feature. Instead of constantly watching the screen, I get notified when fish come into view, which makes it way more exciting!! The live image is clear as well, and setup is straightforward. This thing makes fishing way more fun and interactive than I expected!

One of the reasons I picked the CF1 2025 was that the unit can double as a power bank, which is perfect for someone like me who spends half the day out fishing. It's a bit pricier than some other cameras, but honestly it's well worth it. Very pleased with it so far.
